Lt. Col. Harendra Bana has had almost 30 years of experience in the field of safety and security. During his service in the Indian Army, Col. Bana achieved various qualifications, such as the Certification on Safety, Security, and Law & order management from the Indian Army Military Police School.
Upon seeking voluntary retirement from the Indian Army, Col. Bana joined Microsoft India as its Security Manager where he over-sought the security in the North, East, and West India regions. Furthermore, Col. Bana was the Country Security Manager for John Deere India, where he managed the Pan-India Security Operation and Investigations space.
Col. Bana is a strong communicator with an ability to foresee, design, and deploy security plans to foster organizational strength in order to promote business continuity. In addition to this, he possesses impeccable budget/time management skills that have been apparent the optimization of his security resources and efficiency maintenance.
Currently, Col. Harendra Bana is the Head Security, India Region for PepsiCo India. At PepsiCo, he is responsible for the operational management of Security and Business continuity operations for Food and Beverage Plants in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. This includes crisis management, business continuity, risk assessment, and related mitigation strategies in alignment with the PepsiCo global security guidelines.
In addition to this, he is the Current Chairman for the USA Security Body, the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) India, Delhi Chapter. He is also a member of the Fire & Security Association of India, Life Member of the United Services Institution of India – a defense services security think-tank institute, and a Life Member of the Indian Army Infantry Alumni Association.
