Biography

Major Avtar Singh is a seasoned security professional who has had a career span of over four decades. Major Avtar Singh, upon leaving the Indian Army, went on to serve various organization in the Indian corporate sector – such as IFFCO, Moser Baer, IBM Daksh, and IBM India.

Avtar provides a unique outlook towards the security industry due to his dual perspective as an end-user of security, and also a security provider. Currently, he manages over 30,000 employees in India as General Manager and Country Head of Security for Concentrix Corporation. He is a Certified Protection Professional, Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist. In addition to this, he is also a part of various national and international professional organizations and thrives on an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Private Security Industry in India and the challenges faced by it.
