Col. Mukesh Lakhanpal, CPP, PSP

Biography

Col. Mukesh Lakhanpal has had over four decades of experience in security operations, training, consultancy, and security risk management. Col Lakhanpal has been the Principal Consultant of over 550 Security Risk assessments, facility security designs, and fire and life safety audits. His assignments range from security designs of refineries, warehouses, metro rail projects, airports, oil and gas infrastructures, ports, banks, gold refineries, etc.

In addition to this, he has conducted security management training programs for senior security professionals across Northern Africa, the Middle East and Southern Asia, Thailand, and Sudan. He has been a speaker on a wide range of security subjects on various national and international safety protocols, and security forums.

Currently, he is the Vice-President and Head of Security and Risk Consulting Division for G4S. In addition to this, he is a Certified Protection Professional and a Certified Physical Security Professional, and a past Chairman of ASIS India New Delhi Chapter. He is also a member of Security Architecture and Engineering Council of ASIS International. Furthermore, he served on the ASIS International Risk Assessment Standards Technical Committee and is presently a member on Security and Resilience in the organization’s and their supply chains. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Security Sector Skills Development Council.
