Biography

Major Mandeep Garewal, a reputed security consultant, certified trainer, and emergency response mentor, has been an active member of the Indian Security Industry since the last 16 years. Prior to this, he served in the Indian Army for over 12 years, which included a prestigious tenure as an Instructor at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.

Maj. Garewal has often played a meaningful role in driving professional growth of the Indian security guarding industry and is well known for his out-of-the-box views that provide a new dimension to security solutions. He is a recognized author of safety and security articles published in India’s leading security magazines and electronic media. In addition to this, his physical security solutions for the BPO Industry Security have been especially lauded within the Industry.

Maj. Garewal is a member of ASIS International, Asian Professional Security Association, Fire & Security Association of India, and various other professional bodies. Furthermore, he is on the Board of Governors of the prestigious IISSM.

Currently, he is the Managing Director of Force Tech Security India and is a principal consulstant for the same. He leads professional teams to provide high end safety & rescue training for working at towers and extreme heights – including rope access, leadership development, women’s safety, soft skills, and outbound and team building training across India and abroad.

In 2010, Major Mandeep Garewal was selected to be honored as ‘Security Personality of the Year’ at the Global Security Leadership Summit in New Delhi.
