Ramendra Shekhar Singh

Biography

Mr Ramendra Shekhar Singh is an extremely proficient security professional, with an outstanding knowledge of the Indian Security Industry and has been a part of it for almost 30 years. Throughout his career, he has served various prestigious organizations in different sectors of the economy.

Mr. Singh was an Assistant Commandant in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), before joining the Indian Private Sector, where he became an instructor at the ITBP Academy – the most prestigious assignment as a police officer. In addition to this, he is a qualified bomb detection instructor and rendering safe of IEDs.

Upon leaving the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, he served as the Senior Vice President for Western India Shipyard Ltd where he was in charge of Human Resources, Administration, Logistics, and IR. In addition to this, he has also served as the Vice President – Administration and Workplace Services for Reliance Industries Ltd, and the Vice President and Country Head – Corporate Security & Business Continuity for HSBC.

Currently, Mr. Ramendra Shekhar Singh is the Country Head – Security and Compliance for Airtel. In his current capacity, Mr. Singh handles a large network of professionals with a much larger footprint in the Indian Economy than most other companies.
