Balwant Singh Atwal

Biography

Mr. Balwant Singh Atwal has had over 18 years of experience in the diverse fields of Industrial and Corporate Security. He is an alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia University where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities. In addition to this, he holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Human Resources and holds various certifications in the field of security.

Mr. Atwal creates a well balance between his professional and personal life. He is an active sportsman and has played in six national and two university handball tournaments. This inspired him to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education after which he went on to complete a Master’s Degree in the same from Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

Currently, he is the Corporate Security Head for Fidelity International in India – prior to which he worked at Reliance Industries Ltd – and is the Vice-Chairman of ASIS International Delhi Chapter #207.
