Biography

Brig. Govind Singh Sisodia, VSM (Retd.), a decorated soldier, is a well-known security professional who has rich experience in handling a variety of security situations.

Besides the Indian Army, Brig. Sisodia has served with the elite Black Cat Commandos of the National Security Guard (NSG). During the 26/11 anti-terrorism operation, he led successful commando operations in The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and Hotel Trident. He was also a part of the Commonwealth Games Security and a member of the International Security Liaison Group for Commonwealth Games.

A highly trained officer, besides the army courses, he has studied International Crisis Management and Hostage Negotiation with the Scotland Yard, and VVIP Security Management with The United States’ Department of Homeland Security. After his successful and eventful tenure with the NSG, he took premature retirement and joined the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as Head, Physical Security Management. He is presently working with the BCCI for Security Management.
