Garry Singh

Biography

Mr. Garry Singh has had a long career in the field of Safety and Security. A seasoned security professional, he has worked in different geographic locations across the globe – India and South Asia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Middle East, North America, and parts of Europe. Interestingly, he is proficient in multiple languages: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Dari – a Persian dialect, and has elementary knowledge of French.

He has been instrumental in numerous risk management and intelligence assignments for various multinational and Indian corporates. He has worked on many sensitive extortion, kidnapping, and high end corporate fraud cases. During some cases, Garry has effectively managed the unearthing of financial crimes, computer forensics, fact-finding through innovative interviewing techniques, and liaison with international and Indian authorities. Furthermore, he has solved complex situations while ensuring the economic sense of the client’s business.

Garry was once made responsible for the security of the Taj Mahal in Agra during a high-risk scenario. Currently, he is the Managing Director for IIRIS Consulting and the Director for ICSS. At IIRIS, Garry has developed two unique verticals of IntelliRisk and IntelliSense to add critical business value through innovative and strategic programs of intelligence and risk management.

He is a member of the FICCI committee on Security & Investigations, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce committee on Security, and the Secretary of the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), Delhi Chapter. Furthermore, he is a State Councilor for IISSM, a member with Forum of Integrated National Security (FINS), on the Board of Advisors for International College of Security Studies, a Member of ASIS, and a member of the Indian Society of Training & Development.

Garry has achieved various educational qualifications which include, Hotel Management, Defense Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Disaster Management, Marketing Management, Training & Development, Peacekeeping and Conflict Resolution, and Reid’s Investigative Interview Technique. In addition to this, he is a Certified Anti-Terror Specialist, Anti-Kidnap & Extortion specialist, and a Six-Sigma Green Belt.
