Biography

Robert Nicholls, also known as Bob, has been one of the pioneers of the global event security industry. Upon completion of his training in the UK, Bob was enlisted by the ANC Party in South Africa in 1992 to train and advice their VIP Protection Units that were responsible for the protection of Nelson Mandela and all of their senior leadership. Later, in 1994 he became the first civilian consultant to the South African Police Service to advice a reconstruction strategy for their VIP Protection Unit.

Today, Bob is responsible for the development and management of many specialized security programs across the globe. He has been an active practitioner of security in India since 1995 and commanded the 7-man NSA team that carefully carried out the rescue operation of 150 hostages at the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai during the 26/11 terrorist attacks. In addition to this, Bob has been appraised by the global security industry for his highly innovate, pioneering and customer-centric global operations offering turnkey security solutions.
